Program Options

Through a partnership with North Regional TAFE we are very excited to provide an option for eligible people to access training where the students will complete units of this qualification while improving their daily English language, numeracy, and basic digital skills. Upon completion of this course, they can improve their skills with additional training. They can also use the 5 core units towards completing a full qualification by taking a few extra elective units. Training will take place at the Kununurra campus. Places and timeframes are limited so please apply now!

There are alternative, less involved options which include:

  • Assist migrants with their understanding and knowledge of the region, and help them to navigate through systems, structures and processes.
  • Assist the primary and secondary visa holders with social/cultural integration.
  • Work with the migrant worker but also include the broader family, including partners and dependants. The program will focus on family assistance with essential services such as enrolling children in school, accessing church or religious groups, counselling, and linkages with other support services.
  • Be available to all migrants and their families, regardless of the visa they are on or whether it is temporary or permanent.

Who is eligible

Kimberly Relocation Support is available for all migrants who have newly relocated to the Kimberley, who have a right to work in Australia or at least one member of the relocating family has a right to work in Australia. It is a free service for the individual, the family, and the business.
The program seeks to take an added load off the business itself which in many cases has been the sole provider of information and assistance.

What is involved in accessing Kimberley Relocation Support?

Whether you are an employer or employee start by contacting us via phone, email, or in person to discuss your needs and circumstances. The employee will complete an intake form and book in for an initial referral.
